AIPCE-CEP Press Release – EU Fish processors and traders engage in the European Market Advisory Council
On 8th June the founding members of the European Market Advisory Council (MAC) for fisheries and aquaculture officially installed this new consultative body for market issues which will strengthen the implementation of the EU Common Fisheries Policy and the market regulation (CFP and CMO) i . The MAC will provide its advice to the Commission and other policy-makers with the same status as the existing Advisory Councils (ACs)ii .
